Ella remembers the good old days, she has been with Moreland Developments for nearly twenty four years, "There was no Moreland then," explains Ella, "It used to be called Tongaat Hulett Properties and we had our offices in town."

Ella remembers the good old days, she has been with Moreland Developments for nearly twenty four years, "There was no Moreland then," explains Ella, "It used to be called Tongaat Hulett Properties and we had our offices in town."

Since their move to Umhlanga Ridge Ella has thrived in the company, becoming the personal assistant to Moreland Development's residential development director David Jollands as well as the assistant to Sales Manager Soo Meyer.

However Ella is as much a career woman as a mother to her two children and grandmother to four-year-old Zahra-Imaan. When Ella talks about her family a little twinkle comes to her eyes. She divides her time between a busy schedule at work as well as renovating her one hundred and four year old Victorian home in Glenwood.

"Saturdays are my favourite days." Says Ella with a big grin, " My grand daughter Zara comes to visit and it is our day, we read and draw and tell stories and it is a great way to bond with her." She enjoys shopping at Musgrave Centre with her daughter Kyasha, which they usually do on weekends.

Ella is content with her life and admits that the Moreland team, which she works for is like her second family, they go away on weekends together and enjoy each other's company even after hours. "We are closely knit in my department and it makes it really easy to enjoy my work, which is always stimulating and exciting."

However Ella dreams of retiring one day with a little coffee shop somewhere in the area where she can serve Indian delights and watch her grandchildren growing up. The Bugle wishes for Ella that all her dreams come true.
