On-line dating is a recent addition to the process of courtship, and for this reason it is viewed with some scepticism.  I hardly understand why, at least most modern woman choose a spouse for themselves; unlike in the
Victorian era: where a husband was chosen for her.  The very thought is enough to melt my curlers.

Currently, woman out number men on the planet, and therefore the competition is escalating - "convenience shopping for a male", on a global menu makes a lot of sense when viewed in this context.  I think it's important to understand the landscape and format of internet dating sites in order to benefit, from what the technology offers.

Firstly expect to meet some amazing people, and also expect that you might run into some serious space cadets.  The reason for that would simply be that if you date at high velocity as you do on the internet, the chance of meeting someone amazing increases, as does the chance of meeting more men doing cartwheels on the edge of cosmic chaos.
